Now in their sixth year, the Consumer Credit Awards, run by Smart Money People, are widely recognised as the leading awards in the credit industry, as voted for by consumers.
The awards span the breadth of the credit industry, recognising loan providers, credit unions, credit information partners, retail finance and more. There's also specific partner categories for businesses who provide services to credit providers. A full list of the award categories can be found here.
In 2021, over 31,000 consumers voted in the awards, making it a record year for voting, showing a high level of engagement from both participating brands and consumers in the awards.
Since launch the awards have been featured in a range of publications including The Guardian and Spectator Money, alongside trade titles such as CCR Magazine, Loan Talk, Motor Trade News and Credit Connect.
The Consumer Credit Awards are run by Smart Money People, who offer a review platform focussed purely on the financial sector and provide customer insight to a wide range of organisations. Founded in 2014, Smart Money People’s mission is to help the financially active make more successful choices, and the Consumer Credit Awards help to achieve this mission by acting as a symbol of excellence to both consumers and industry peers.
